    Overview

    Summary:

    Strata Solar Services is the fourth-largest third-party Solar PV Operations & Maintenance provider in the United States and continues to grow, which has created a need for a Manager, Account Management.  This critical new role is responsible for maintaining our excellent service levels throughout all Account Management & Warranty Administration business activities.  We’re seeking someone who builds deep relationships with employees and clients alike, and takes a level-headed and organized approach even when the stakes are high.  You don’t need prior solar experience, but you do need to be a quick learner with an ability to teach yourself new technical concepts and should be excited by the responsibilities & qualifications described below.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Build strong working relationships with key points of contact within client organizations.
    • Reinforce company emphasis on safety, environmental awareness, transparency, and high-quality work at every turn.
    • Understand and train others on all contractual obligations, ensuring systems are in place to track and escalate contract compliance status.
    • Maintain accountability for all open issues relating to client assets. Delegate and monitor progress through resolution.
    • Support priority setting across O&M division, working closely with various departments to support company goals.
    • Propose creative solutions to open issues that generate returns for customers and incremental revenue for Strata.
    • Create presentations and present to company and client management teams on account performance on regular frequency.
    • Develop workflow to track long-term projects while maintaining awareness and ability to support new urgent items.
    • Manage a driven team of highly dedicated Account Personnel focused on asset management, project management, warranty administration, power plant performance reporting, etc. 
    • Develop dashboard tracking capabilities of account/project performance.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Manage a high-performing team of Account Managers and Coordinators, with a focus on each employee’s career development and exposure to high-value projects.

    Qualifications

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree is required
    • Experience creating & managing project schedules in Microsoft Project or similar
    • Experience preparing Microsoft PowerPoint slide decks & presenting to executives
    • Experience managing corporate client relationships
    • Ability to self-teach technical concepts quickly with minimal formal training materials

    Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

    Work is performed in an office environment and in the field. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist and lift up to 20 pounds.
