The Strata intern program is an exceptional summer program that helps interns find direction and purpose by providing hands-on experiences. Strata Clean Energy, as a national developer, contractor, owner and operator of solar energy and energy storage projects, provides its attorneys with a multi-disciplinary law practice. Strata’s attorneys serve as key members of the legal department and assist the General Counsel and other members of Strata’s executive team in executing overall strategic objectives from both legal and business perspectives. Reporting to the Sr. Associate Counsel – Development, this position will work closely with personnel in all of Strata’s departments, in particular the solar energy and energy storage development teams.

Interface with the subcontractor to ensure conformance with approved plans, specifications, scope of work, and contract documents. Corrects and reports any safety issues to Safety Manager. The Development Sr. Manager will focus efforts around expanding Strata’s portfolio in CAISO and WECC markets. Project developers are charged with managing between 4-10 projects and all associated development activities from land siting and interconnection through to permitting and origination.The position requires frequent travel to project locations to meet with landowners, permitting officials, and local officials.

The Director of Business Process Optimization (DBPO) is responsible for directing activities for analyzing and optimizing Strata’s business processes focused on improving operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. A successful DBPO will have in-depth knowledge of standard business processes along with current and future business process trends. Their duties include communicating between company Executives and personnel, reviewing systems and processes, establishing cross functional workflows that will drive efficiencies. The DBPO will be a highly analytical professional with excellent communication and organizational skills. Apart from their education and experience, the DBPO must be a quality leader with strong strategic and business acumen.
As the Director of Construction Electrical, you will lead a team of professionals providing preconstruction support, estimating, construction project management and contract oversight for utility scale solar, and battery energy storage projects. You will be involved in oversight for all phases of facility construction, from pre-construction design and planning through commissioning and closeout. You will be responsible for representing the company with a variety of project partners and stakeholders. You will be responsible for the performance and execution of all construction operations across the EPC portfolio, establishment of departmental and project budgets, and hands-on involvement with process and system improvements to a rapidly growing company with national operations.

The Director of Subcontracts Management is responsible for managing all subcontract related activities for the EPC business. This includes supervision of subcontract management and administration staff to execute the essential duties and responsibilities of this role as listed below. The core function of this role is to lead the continuous refinement of subcontractor engagement, RFP package documentation and procedures, subcontract agreement templates, discipline-specific scopes of work, and general business procedures to align other key functional EPC groups on the buy-out of subcontracted work packages. Exceptional performance in this role includes the generation and development of innovative new methods of subcontractor engagement to help ensure completion of projects on time, within budget, and at the expected level of quality and safety. Engagement with Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Legal, and other support functions is critical to the success of the subcontracts team and the leader in this role.

Strata Clean Energy is seeking a M&A Director to support our project sales and acquisitions throughout the US. Strata Clean Energy has been developing and selling projects for over 13 years, being an early entrant in Solar (2008), BESS (2018) and Green-Hydrogen (2023). Strata has over 13GWac of projects in the US in different development stages, and we foresee M&A to continue being an important aspect of our business.
The M&A Director will work with our Chief Development Officer to execute the project sale strategy in our portfolio, as well as leading the acquisition activities in our key markets. This position requires a strong experience in developing networks and negotiating MIPAs and APAs. The candidate will be required to organize and manage sale processes, as well as to coordinate the work with the development and investment teams. The ideal candidate has previous experience in renewable M&A and brings a network of potential buyers to the company.
