The Strata intern program is an exceptional summer program that helps interns find direction and purpose by providing hands-on experiences. By working on business projects, interns can hone their career interests. The support of a direct manager and team ensures interns are adequately supervised and challenged throughout the program. The Strata Internship runs for ten weeks. There are in-person events that are organized regularly, where you can meet and interact with people from different business units at Strata. The objective at Strata is to spot outstanding individuals with a potential future at our company. The CM’s primary role is to oversee the execution of the construction work on-site, to ensure contractors are holding to their contractual obligations specifically in terms of safety, quality, schedule, and budget. To be successful the CM must complement the PM’s contractual and management expertise with their own construction and on-site expertise. This position is for all solar projects in the United States. Travel is required.

The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all company facilities within an assigned area as directed by the Facilities Manager. This position is expected to have a working knowledge of and be able to perform or supervise trade professionals performing, repairs and preventative maintenance at company facilities including electrical, carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. The role additionally advises and assists the Facility Manager in matters related to space utilization, facility startup and shutdown activities, lease and contract supervision, and construction and permitting matters.

The Manager will build key relationships with ISO’s, RTO’s, and utilities to develop and execute new renewable energy projects. This individual will have previous experience in the energy industry specifically performing interconnection work, power system studies, and/or regulatory strategy. Key responsibilities will be developing process maps for each target market and associated business execution plans to successfully navigate the interconnection process, prepare technical data as required, building internal/external relationships, ISO/RTO advocacy, and helping develop short, mid, and long-term interconnection strategy.

Strata Solar Services is currently seeking a full-time PV & BESS Performance Engineer to join our Performance Analytics team, which is responsible for modeling and optimizing the energy output of our operating fleet of solar power plants through performance reporting development and automation, conducting performance analyses, and using industry research and PV system design principals to drive models. This role requires a deep understanding of both photovoltaic (PV) systems and battery energy storage systems (BESS), as well as expertise in Python programming, PVLib, PVsyst, SQL Databases, Grafana, and Python orchestration. The Senior PV & BESS Performance Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing the performance of our solar energy and battery storage installations.
This role is responsible for planning and scheduling of medium to large scale utility solar and BESS projects. ($25MM - $300MM). The role would be ideally suited to planner/schedulers who have full project lifecycle experience, but have an emphasis on EPCC projects. Candidates must have held at least one Lead Planner role, and be comfortable running multi-discipline planning sessions.

This individual will receive comprehensive on-the-job, classroom-based, and online training pertaining to all aspects of PV fundamentals, installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of small commercial and large utility-scale PV systems. As training milestones are completed, the Technician will become qualified to perform and supervise more and more maintenance activities which will lead to a range of future growth opportunities within Strata.
