The Strata intern program is an exceptional summer program that helps interns find direction and purpose by providing hands-on experiences. By working on business projects, interns can hone their career interests. The support of a direct manager and team ensures interns are adequately supervised and challenged throughout the program. This role requires an understanding of Electrical Engineering principles, along with the ability to analyze information and present it in a clear, accessible manner to guide electrical installation.

This is a hands-on position; the Electrical Foreman will be expected to be hands-on in the field.    This position is for all solar projects in the United States. Must be willing to travel.

Summary:   Strata Solar Services is currently seeking a full-time Energy Analyst to join our Performance Analytics team, which is responsible for optimizing the energy output of our operating fleet of solar power plants through ongoing reporting, conducting performance analyses, and using industry research and PV system design principals to drive models.  

Summary: The ERP analyst is responsible for effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of ERP systems software and related infrastructure. This individual primarily supports the user base through operational problem solving, documentation, and training. Strata Clean Energy uses the Vista by Viewpoint for the ERP, and the ERP Analyst will need to be an expert in the core ERP as well as any integrated tools.

Summary:   The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all company facilities within an assigned area as directed by the Facilities Manager. This position is expected to have a working knowledge of and be able to perform or supervise trade professionals performing, repairs and preventative maintenance at company facilities including electrical, carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. The role additionally advises and assists the Facility Manager in matters related to space utilization, facility startup and shutdown activities, lease and contract supervision, and construction and permitting matters.

The Manager of Interconnection will serve as the lead executor of the interconnection process.  The Manager will build key relationships with ISO’s, RTO’s, and utilities to develop and execute new renewable energy projects.  This individual will have previous experience in the energy industry specifically performing interconnection work, power system studies, and/or regulatory strategy.  Key responsibilities will be developing process maps for each target market and associated business execution plans to successfully navigate the interconnection process, prepare technical data as required, building internal/external relationships, ISO/RTO advocacy, and helping develop short, mid, and long-term interconnection strategy.

Summary: The Lead Weekday Operator of Strata’s Security Operations Center (SOC) is tasked with employing best practices to identify, analyze, and manage all incidents that may impact Strata Clean Energy, the brand, or employees. The ideal candidate will be a proficient problem solver, possess critical thinking skills, and demonstrate attention to detail. Weekday shifts will be overnight in Strata’s Durham, NC headquarters.   This role is a primary operator position for monitoring the company’s electronic surveillance systems that cover numerous large-scale construction projects and energy production sites; it entails effectively communicating incident-related information to leadership using established protocols. The SOC Lead Weekday Operator will perform all duties within the SOC and be responsible for monitoring cameras and alarms, dispatching calls via telephone and radio, operating access control technology, along with providing general assistance where needed. The SOC Operator will support the headquarters security team and field security staff in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from both crisis and non-crisis incidents.

Summary: The Module Wash Technician is responsible for assisting with the module washing processes on PV plants as assigned. This individual will be trained in the operations and safety procedures to be able to perform all functions in a safe manner.

Summary:   Strata Solar Services is currently seeking a full-time PV & BESS Performance Engineer to join our Performance Analytics team, which is responsible for modeling and optimizing the energy output of our operating fleet of solar power plants through performance reporting development and automation, conducting performance analyses, and using industry research and PV system design principals to drive models. This role requires a deep understanding of both photovoltaic (PV) systems and battery energy storage systems (BESS), as well as expertise in Python programming, PVLib, PVsyst, SQL Databases, Grafana, and Python orchestration. The Senior PV & BESS Performance Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing the performance of our solar energy and battery storage installations.

The Solar Electrical Technician I is directly responsible for electrical, telecommunication, and mechanical maintenance activities, to include testing and repair of all major and balance-of-system components utilized in solar photovoltaic (“PV”) power generation. This individual will receive comprehensive on-the-job, classroom-based, and online training pertaining to all aspects of PV fundamentals, installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of small commercial and large utility-scale PV systems.
